      Two years ago, my wife and I were retiring from the Navy and were moving back to Minnesota. We placed our home in Chesapeake on the market with Mr. Hope. He did a full market analysis, made very good suggestions as to how to prepare our home for sale and produced very professional full color brochures to place in the home for prospective buyers, to take with them to help them in their decision. Unexpectedly an offer of employment came for us to remain in the area. After less than three weeks, we pulled the house off the market. He was extremely gracious about the whole ordeal.
      We ended up moving to Elizabeth City, NC, only fifty miles away and renting the house out for two years. When we decided again to list the home for sale there was only one choice: we again called Bart Hope. Bart did all the preparatory work again, made all the suggestions that would enable us to readily sell an empty standing house in short order. We not only sold in quick time, but closed the sale with money in hand in less than six weeks. Of course there were small fires but Bart put every one out before you could smell the smoke.
